Your MINDSET:
  • A natural leader and team player with a good portion of personality;
  • Enthusiastic and a hands-on mentality;
  • Leading, empowering, recruiting, coaching and motivating the Food & Beverage team is music to your ears;
  • A smooth operator, working closely with Front Office, Housekeeping and other departments;
  • Develop and implement creative strategies for revenue enhancement and cost containment;
  • A problem solver, with great creativity and pro-activity.
What does the ROLE entail?
  • Spending time on the floor, ensuring its adequate management to the fullest expectations;
  • Ensuring that the Food and Beverage activities are aligned with the respective Hotel Strategy;
  • Monitoring all operations, especially during peak business periods, working through the respective (Assistant) Managers to make adjustments where necessary;
  • Personally and frequently verifying that guests are receiving the best possible service;
  • Recruiting and selecting of F&B employees;
  • Maximizing the effectiveness of employees by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring;
  • Ensuring that Food and Beverage associates work in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, and keeping a close relationship with all departments within the hotel;
  • Encouraging employees to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognizing them for their contribution to the success of the operation.

Your EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 2 years as F&B Manager, having extensive hotel experience and a thorough understanding of all levels of the kitchen, the restaurant, the bar, banquet and events service;
  • A relevant degree in Hospitality or Tourism, or equivalent experience;
  • Ready for a full time management role that requires flexibility in your schedule;
  • Great language and communication skills in English, and preferably in Dutch;
  • Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid work permit for the country (we do not assist with Visa / permit applications).
