The InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam is looking for a Revenue Manager. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assesses, evaluates and implements revenue generation strategies to ensure the maximisation of revenue.

- Communicates the revenue generation strategies to all Revenue Management Departments (Group, Individual, BQT sales and all F&B related departments).
- Reviews individual, group room rate and conference room pricing to ensure they reflect the market conditions and competitive environment.
- Implements and maintains the hotel Revenue Management system (Holidex and Opera).
- Utilises and integrates all available tools and systems in all revenue generating departments to maximise revenue earning capability.
- Evaluates channel delivery and takes deliberate actions to influence the optimum delivery through each channel.
- Determines hotel pricing policy in conjunction with each specialist head of department.
- Reviews and approves all group and BQT requests outside of the specified guideline.
- In cooperation with the Rooms Division Manager, Director of Sales, F&B Manager and the Financial Controller, revises forecasts and prepares annual Budgets.
- Oversees the configuration of the hotel?s Property Management System.
- In cooperation with the Regional Revenue Manager develops and implements alternative revenue generating programs.
- Reviews LNR pricing and contracting for future contracts and existing contracts.
- Investigate and communicate new ways to capture optimal revenue potentials.
- Analyses lost business report and actions upon.
- Ensures implementation of demand-planning calendars for Rooms and BQT.
- Shops competitors regularly for future strategy.
- Facilitates the weekly Revenue/ Yield meeting.
- Produce reports as required
- Strong communication with Head Office
- DM shifts at least twice a month

 

- At least 2 years experience in (international) hotels in the revenue and reservations department.
- Excellent communication, motivation, organisation and leadership skills.
-Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language in both writing and speaking.
- Strong communication skills and perseverance
