Pestana hotel Group welcomes a new luxury hotel located on the Amsteldijk with 154 rooms, various meeting & venue spaces and a luxurious Spa, also long stay serviced apartments are available.

We are looking for a Sales Executive

Main Responsabilities:
  • Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as required
  • Proactively uncover new prospects for the Hotel, and maximize conversion of business in line with the Hotels’ budgetary goals
  • Develop action plans for achievement of room night and average rate goals mainly for the MICE/Group segment
  • Carry out focused and innovate promotional activity e.g. fam trips, educational site inspections, mailings and incentives
  • Actively participate in sales presentations, property tours and customer meetings
  • Organization and planning of sales blitzes, mailings and other new creative activities to establish and maintain a healthy client relationship and generate business.
  • Professionally represent the hotel at community and industry organizations and events
  • Responsible for coordination of administrative tasks within the sales department (e.g. written communications, answering of telephone, handling sales office inventory and store Coordination of ordering the office supplies (e.g. stationary)
  • Develop and sustain the policies and procedures of the department
  • Ensure the client database is accurate and up to date at all times
  • Keep track of and coordinate all Sales and Marketing related enquiries.
  • Prepare the sales trips, trade show registration, booking of flights and accommodations, preparing of presentations and give-aways.
  • Be the Lanyon specialist (system for the RFP’s) and coordinating all RFP requests and sending out all necessary contracts and administrations
  • Prepare all daily and weekly reports
  • Coordinate the weekly sales meetings
  • Participate as team player with other departments and own team to work striving for excellent guest service as a result.

Key Qualifications:
  • Experienced in the local market with a strong focus on corporate and MICE business
  • Knowledge of competitive sets in the Amsterdam luxury hotel market
  • Be fluent in Dutch, English and preferably another European language
  • Positive attitude and mindset
  • Flexibility and a 'can do' mentality
  • Be 'hunter' for new business and commercially driven
