For the Kimpton De Witt Hotel we are looking for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator.
  
WHAT WILL I ACTUALLY BE DOING?
You are driven and tenacious by nature and you love everything to be just right, which means you will feel perfectly at home in this team.
 
Regarding the role, it’s as the job title says really, you’ll be making sure all our sales are captured accurately and relevant colleagues are informed. You’ll liaise with our bookers and build strong relationships based on your efficiency and reliability.
 
Part of the role is physical and you will be on your feet some of the day, so fitness will be key for you, although reasonable adjustments will be made where we can. There’s a lot of people around in the hotel, so you will need to be able communicate well with everyone. We would love it if you were multi-lingual, but it’s not essential.
 
HOW DO YOU WOW OUR GUESTS?
You are responsible for giving the ‘wow’ factor to our guests during their stay with us. You’ll create that welcoming atmosphere and make sure everything is just right and exceeds our guests’ expectations by being accurate in your work and knowledgeable about everything in the hotel, making sure you add your personal touch to it. 
 
You’ll make sure all client details are all recorded accurately, and you will know your local market. You’ll work closely together with our R&B, Concierge and Front Office teams to make sure everything is perfect. You’ll also help the Marketing department to really put on a show for our clients as the right times. Yes, we have standards and procedures, but it’s down to you to make their stay special and memorable.
 
You will interact with guests throughout the day, making sure they have everything they need. We all do it, we forget to ask for something, or something happens and we have to change our plans, so you will be on hand to step in and help.
 
HOW DO YOU SHOW YOU GENUINELY CARE ABOUT YOUR COLLEAGUES? 
Nothing works well in the hotel if we don’t work together as a team and you will work closely in a great team. Supporting your team members, as they will support you; it’s about clear communication and respecting everyone in the team as an individual. We’re all a bit different, but that’s why you’re here, we love your individuality.
 
HOW DO YOU MAKE THE HOTEL SUCCESSFUL?
You can help with this by being organised, knowing who’s in the hotel and what for, and keeping everyone informed of what’s going on so everyone is ready to go at the start of their day.
 
You can also help by working closely with the other teams in the hotels by reporting damage and repairs quickly and accurately.
 
Bring creativity into your role also by sharing any ideas that you have, to make things even better.
 
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED IN THE COMMUNITY?
This is a biggie for us at Kimpton, we are a big part of the community and we need to ensure we support it.  You need to ensure you follow the processes for chemicals and personal protective equipment in your role, but we also expect you to get involved and get out and about with the neighbours as part of our community projects.
 
IS THERE STUDY INVOLVED?
Of course! You are encouraged to join trainings for your personal development. This is where your individuality is celebrated and you can take your passion and creativity to new heights. There’s everything from your ‘local newbie orientation’ to get you started, through to leadership and management courses.
