Main Responsibilities:
  • Together with the Sales Director prepare, and compile data for the strategic sales plan, annual goals, , forecasts and other reports as required.
  • Work on and create promotional activities e.g. fam trips, educational site inspections, mailings and incentives for respective markets
  • Actively participate in sales presentations, property tours and customer meetings.
  • Organization and planning of sales blitzes, mailings and other new creative activities to establish and maintain a healthy client relationship and generate business.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Actively solicits new business for the hotel.
  • Ensure the client database is always accurate and up to date.
  • Handling RFP season.
  • Have a distinctive blend of confidence and personality to help give both our clients and guests an unforgettable experience.
  • Make intuitive decisions in favor of the guest and maintain the highest standards of service.
  • Good negotiator, and possess the ability to successfully close business through your determination to succeed.
  • Good attention to detail and planning abilities.
  • You will have fantastic people skills and inspire others to perform.
  • Participate as team player with other departments and own team to work striving for excellent guest service as a result.
Key Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor business administration experience is a plus.
  • Experienced in the Benelux market with a strong focus on the Amsterdam Market.
  • Minimum 2 years  experience in pro active sales
  • Knowledge of competitive sets in the Amsterdam luxury hotel market.
  • Be fluent in Dutch, English .
